Remember...

Remember...
Once you get over the hill, you'll begin to pick up speed.

If it weren't for STRESS
I'd have no energy at all.

Whatever hits the fan...
Will Not Be Evenly Distributed.

Everyone has a photographic memory.
Some, like me, just don't have any film.

I always know...
God won't give me more than I can handle
There are times I just wish He didn't trust me quite so much.

If the shoe fits... buy a pair in every color.

Never be too open-minded, your brains may fall out.

Just going to church doesn't make you a Christian.
Not any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

Bills travel through the mail...
at twice the speed of checks.

If you look like your passport picture...
you probably need the trip.

Some days are a total waste of makeup.

Men are from earth.
Women are from earth.

Deal with it.

A balanced diet is a cookie in each hand.

Middle age is when broadness of the mind
and narrowness of the waist change places.

Opportunities always look bigger going than coming.

Junk is something you've kept for years
and throw away three weeks before you need it.

Experience is a wonderful thing.
It enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

By the time you can make ends meet, they move the ends.

Learn from the mistakes of others.
Trust me... you can't live long enough to make them all yourself.
I've tried!!

Hey ya'll

Boy has it been crazy around here...Monday started off real good...let the dog out the back door and when she came in her foot hit the bottom and then i could not close it...well the bottom had rusted so bad over 20 years of being rained on that apparently all it needed was a dog to step on it...so My hubby takes off the thingy on the bottom which then left a big gap and we can't have that cause these big bug's might come in. He goes to put it in the trash can out side and comes in and say's someone stole our trash can. Now I have been living here for 20 something years and have never had anything stolen so I had a big problem with that. He called the trash company and they just happened to have found a trash can, and guess where they found it.. which they did not confess to...it was in there trash truck. Mystery solved. So off to home depot we go to get a new door and and then today my hubby put it in and they delivered our new trash can and everything was right with the world again...LOL what a week. Lots of things happening other then that but that is where I have been. Hope all is well with you all...I have missed reading up on everyone so I guess I will go and do that...talk more later...

It took me over 50 years to learn....

Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.
If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved, and never will achieve, its full potential, that word would be "meetings."
There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
You should not confuse your career with your life.
Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.
Never lick a steak knife.
The most destructive force in the universe is gossip.
You will never find anybody who can give you a clear and compelling reason why we observe daylight savings time.
You should never say anything to a woman that even remotely suggests that you think she's pregnant unless you can see an actual baby emerging from her at that moment.
There comes a time when you should stop expecting other people to make a big deal about your birthday. That time is age eleven.
The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status or ethnic background, is that, deep down inside, we ALL believe that we are above-average drivers.
A person who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is not a nice person. (This is very important. Pay attention. It never fails.)
Your friends love you anyway.
Thought for the day: Never be afraid to try something new. Remember that a lone amateur built the Ark. A large group of professionals built the Titanic.

You can't make me.....

Ok..when I saw this picture it reminded me of a story that happened to me and a little dog named Wolf...we called her wolfie...I got her from a little boy who could not keep her anymore. He had found her abondoned in the street one nite and took her home and told his dad he was goin to name he wolf.. because she was goin to be big. The dad tried to tell him she was a chuiwawa terrier mix and was goin to be small but he would not listen so the name stuck. Well I got her and boy you could have said she was a terror mix..that dog was spastic. She got older around 11years old and I had to take her to get her nails clipped..cause if I tried she would bite me..so I left it to the professionals. She had this little cage I carried her in and when I got there the lady was standing there waiting for me to get her out of the cage. So I opened the door and she would not come out...so I tipped it and still no wolfie...so I tipped it somemore and still no wolfie...by that time my arm was getting tired and I was getting tired and I was loosing my patience so I had this cage in my hands with it all the way turned over shaking it hoping she would fall out and still no wolfie. The lady was watching me not saying a word, and not offering any help either. So I said you stupid dog...what in the world is keeping you in there and I looked down and up into the cage and she had her feet planted on the edge of that cage and was holding on for dear life...just like the dog in this picture...I finaly put my hand in there real quik ...so not to get bit...and dislodged her footing, but even that took me several tries, but she finally fell out and the look on that lady's face was priceless....wolfie lived to be a ripe ole age of 15...she wanted to stick around and drive me nuts and she did. Love ya wolfie..

The Word....

Above all else, guard your heart,

for it is the wellspring of life.
Put away perversity from your mouth;

keep corrupt talk far from your lips.
Let your eyes look straight ahead,

fix your gaze directly before you.
Make level paths for your feet

and take only ways that are firm.
Do not swerve to the right or the left;

keep your foot from evil.

To my friends, I need some help.

My brother' s cat had kittens and he was able to give away all but 4 of them. I told him I would help him find homes for the last 4. I f you could take just one it would be such a help and the kittens could have a nice home. Since he lives by the Nuclear Power Plant, I'll go pick them up for you and you can come to my house and pick it up. I've attached pictures of the last 4 kittens. PLEASE HELP FIND HOMES FOR THESE LITTLE GUYS!
(I love the second one but I've already got so many pets that I can't care for the sweet little thing.)

aw...the dreaded camping trip..

Oh wo is me...The annual camping trip is coming up...yes I love the Mtn's and the smell's but do I really have to stay all nite? Well apparently I do. My hubby loves to go camping. Now what do you think the pilgrims would think if they could look down up on us and think " do these people do this for recreation?" I mean these people had no choice..they had to cook by fire and sleep in tents...ok ok I do have a camper, but never mind that. All the pre-cooking and the packing and the stress..after all the work all I get is mosquito bit. I wish I could get a message.

Now to me the best part is the camp fire and the roasting of the hotdog's. That I love. But then you have to go to the camper and try and sleep with a freight train next to you, and people I am not kidding. I have both ears stuffed with ear plug's and still the train keeps on coming down that track. The acoustics in a camper are perfect for snoring. It magnifies the HORRIBLE sound.

So this year...after me threating to take a shovel this time for burying me some varmint...we have come up with a plan. The plan is he will wear nose strips..I will sleep down on the table bed...and I will double stuff the ear's. So what do you think? Oh by the way...if you see me on dateline with a shovel..don't tell anyone about this blog.
