And so it tis the season and it feels like snow out side....burrr I'm not sure I am ready for snow just yet...but I am getting there. Hope you all are haveing a great autumn...I love Fall, the tree colors are beautiful. The Word of God say's "beer is brawling and strong drink (whiskey) is raging"..I remember watching my mom drink beer and she was almost all the time just happy and mellow if she stuck to beer...but..if she drank whiskey well let's just say the evening would usually go to hell in a hand basket real quick like. On more then a one occasion I saw her completely demolish our apt. and then have to clean it up in the morning. Yes my relationship with alcohol started early. She would take me to the tavern with her when I was 12 years old and I didn't mind it so much cause the old men would give me quarter's all nite and all the grape soda I could drink. Boy am I glad they don't let you take your kids to the bar anymore. She meant well. She was following the generational curse of alcoholism that ran deep in her family line.
I saw alcohol destroy the marriage's in her brother's lives and her life. I saw it destroy my niece's life when she got in the car with a drunk and she never made it home. Altho she made it to her heavenly home. I saw alcohol put my son in jail for 30 days and then probation for 5 years with 10 years of prison hanging over his head if he messed up. I saw alcohol put a gun to my sister's head when her husband was wasted and then it ruined the rest of his life cause he lost his marriage to her and never forgave himself for it.
Yes it can seduce you into thinking it is fun..the Word say's "Sin is fun for a season" but then it is going to rear it's ugly head one day and bite you in the...you know where. It will destroy your health and all your relationship's, because it is a counterfeit to the real thing. What I mean by that is God want's us to have fun...you haven't had real fun untill you have lay ed on the floor with such uncontrolable laughter because of the Spirit of God is all over ya. Well I have experienced that and let me tell you there is no comparing the two. The Word say's " don't be drunk with wine, but be filled with the Spirit". Does God not want us to have fun? No that is not the case...He just know's it is a counterfeit and satan uses it to suck you in and then destroy you. So I will continue to fight the good fight on behalf of my family and that generational curse. I love my family and I am not going to sit idly by and let satan have them without a fight. I know the truth ..he is defeated and we have the victory. Faith is the Victory.

Fall

Ah the beautiful colors of Fall....LOve it and the cool air and the smells...but I hate the cold of winter, but one good thing of winter...it makes you love to see spring and summer. Yes I love the four season's/ I could never live where there are only 2 season's. I lived in Alaska for 6 months and felt like I was on a differant planet. some people loved it ,but not me. Looking forward to the rapture of the church...Ha bet I just lost some of ya. That's ok..but it is not ok if you miss the rapture..won't be a pretty picture after the church is gone. You want to be sure you are in the first load that goes up. Ok that is enough...hope you all are having a great weekend it is a three dayer for me...Yippee

today was a trying day. I go thru times of testing and boy was today ever a test...and so far i have held my peace and with the Lords help I shall continue to do so. Other then that I am getting broke in again. Usually takes a couple of weeks, but this summer I exercised all summer and I really felt the differance. I am looking forward to next summer...LOL

Im still here

I have been missing in action because of facebook...it is addicting. I have met up with some old friends and family and it is really a great tool to keep in touch. I am goin back to work. some body has to feed those kids, guess it will be me. I have missed yall and reading your blogs but it has been a busy summer. I have had an interesting week off from work. My sis Nell has taken ill. It seems her heart is giving out. She spent a week in the hospital in Boise and they did all kinds of tests. They were not very encouraging. They put her on meds and sent her home and we are waiting to see if they can or will do surgery. Please pray for her. I got her a blood pressure cuff and I was sitting there watching a movie with her and decided to take my blood pressure and I was confident cause my pressure has always been low. I was shocked to see it was 145 over 79 and I was sure the thing was broke so i got all rild up and took it again and it was 156 this time cause Iwas al excited. So I took nells and hers was low as useual and I knoew then the 20 extra punds I have been carrying around needs to come off. So you are looking at a girl who is on a diet or lifestyle change and I am hungry right now. But I am determined to get healthy. I sure hope every bodys summer is starting off better then mine. Love ya

Aw Spring has sprung

It has been a long winter...I am so glad to see the beautiful flowers burst forth with gusto. I have been snipping lilacs galore to dry and I am so excited to see them when they are done. It takes about a week and they come out so pretty. Temps are finally goin up around here and summer is approching. The end of school is always exciting for me. Love all you guys and will be keepoing in touch more when things are quiter around here.

I need to clarify that even tho the bible is a history book. It is still the inspired word of God. It say's that it was not from man's intelect it was written when ordinary men were inspired by the Holy Spirit the write. So the author is God. Not man. Now I realize it is every man's right to believe what he so wishes because God made us free agent's. So I guess sometime's we need to just come to realize that, and rest that a man or woman can not come to God usless he or she is drawn by Him. I Pray that all men will be drawn and will recognize when he is being drawn and respond with belief.

Just wanted to check in and say Hi. I am still here...just waiting for school to get out.Yea...been doing face book and it is afun way to keep in touch with your friends and family. So with that I will just say this.

What is history? Well it is his-story...it is when people from the past has given their account of an event and it is told and written down and passed along. So us in the future can read it and learn from it. Now how many of you when you were in school and reading from your history books ever doughted what you were reading and even said to yourself this is not true. Probably no one. Well then please tell me why so many will do that very same thing to the oldest and most truest of all history books. The Bible...it is the greatest history book ever. and it hold's the truth of all eternity in it. think about it.

I have been busy these days. On spring break but their is no rest for the weary. My hubby had knee surgery. He is doing fine. I am still nursing a sore tooth. Getting better tho. Have done a little house spring cleaning. Always like it when things are newly cleaned. wish it would get warm. Boy I need some warm weather to come my way.
Been getting to know facebook. It has been fun and agreat way to keep in touch with family. so that is about all that is goin on here. Hope you all are doing ok. Talk later

It finally came out. The sun is back. Boy life in the northwest can be so depressing in the winter. You never think the sun is goin to shine again and then it does. I love the 4 seasons. I would not be happy with just 2. My tooth is getting better. It is still sore and I can't chew on that side yet, but it is getting better. can't wait for spring break it is coming soon. Don't havwe any plans except to just plain ole sleep in. Yea I love sleeping in. that's all for now folks. Later

I don't know what it is about me and dentist's....everytime I go something goes wrong. So needless to say I don't go very often. Thank God I have good teeth. So I go to get a crown and a filling replaced and he accidently cut's or burns me under the tongue with the drill...now I am numb so I am dumb about it. They tell me it is gonna hurt and I am waiting. Thankfully the mouth heal's quickly. Well that is how my Monday day off has gone...hope ya'll's it better...

I have been away for a while. Iwas stuck in the dark abyss of computer hell. I mean that literally. I got a new computer in Nov. and it broke just shy of my 90 days to take it back. so I took it back and got a new one. so now I am fighting the DSL war's. Yes I have DSL and it is as fast as dial up. So I have to figure out why and if I can't then I will probably go to wireless. So this is my new templet hope you guys like it. I sure do. I have missed reading everyone so i will try and catch up. But right now I am tired so I will retire and wish you all happy computering.

Well had the day off today...yea a Tuesday off...went to see benjamin button...strange movie ...but I did enjoy it...where do people get this stuff...well american idol did not let me down. 2009

Well it was back to work for this lunch lady and let me tell ya it wasn't any fun. Monday came in with a bang. It snowed last night and I mean 6 inches and I was sure we would have a snow day...but noooo. But I made it and before I know it, it will be summer. I am excited because tonite the new bachelor starts. I watched this poor guy get his heart ripped out last show. I was so rooting for him but the crazy gal picked the crazy scater dude and then she goes and ripped his heart out. Man it was crazy. So I am so hopeing he finds true love this time. He is such a cutie. I am a romantic and it really comes out when I watch shows like this one. Lost is starting up soon and yes I am going to watch it again and yes I am still LOST with them. I love the show even tho it gives me a headache. This season they have to go back to the island and get lost again...so funny. And of course it is American Idol month..what can I say I am a fan. Have gone to 2 concerts but the ones I wanted to go to did not come here. Don't know why they can't be consistent. Oh well got to see Jordan Sparks and she was fantastic. Well gotta go for now hope everyone had a great first Monday of 2009.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Well it is 2009 and I have to admit I really can't believe it is 2009. I know every one usually makes resolutions. I have never been the kind to do that. Probably because I knew I would probably fail. So just don't do it and y0u won't have to worry about it. Well this year I am not so much making a resolution as I am make my self aware of the need to grow more spiritual than I have ever been. That is my goal. I want more of the Lord in my life. I need the peace that it brings. So how am I gonna do this you ask? I will pray more and read more and meditate more and just plain ole be still and know that He is God. I hope and pray that you will make the most of the time we have left in this ole world because you would have to have your head stuck in the sand to not realize how bad things are getting. This old world is wearing out. Yea I know that sounds not too good but I really feel that is the case. I know we might have 20 years left but I am not feeling that is so. Oh well that is my feelings about it. The word says to act like you have 20 years abut be ready in case He comes tonite. Just believe on the Lord and you shall be saved. Love you guys and hope you havea wonderful New Year.
